The dynamic trio from Melbourne Australia reached the top five in the 2026 International Blues Challenge, Memphis, TN. The band features Cam Walter on guitar and vocals, Grant Commerford on bass and Tim Burnham on drums. Blending classic and original blues with hypnotic boogie and old school rock n roll, their sound draws inspiration from John Lee Hooker, Bluesbreakers and Jimi Hendrix.

Two awarded musicians. One hypnotising duo. On blues harp, Julie Noble represented Australia with Miss Whiskey in the International Blues Challenge, Memphis, TN. Benji Miu – the former Frankston Young Guitarist of the Year who’s performed extensively nationally and across the globe – features on guitar and vocals. In their new iteration this duo is in high demand, appearing at festivals and events across the country.

Triple J Unearthed quartet Minnie and The Moonrakers play music inspired by the raw, powerful recordings of a bygone era. The vocalist, Siobhan O’Brien, is a soulful performer with a big, gritty sound. She is backed by guitarist Greg Duncan Powell renowned for his edge of the seat guitar riffing. The band – which has appeared at a host of festivals and events across the country – most notably the International Blues Festival, Blues Train, MONA Museum, Melbourne Food and Wine Festival, and more. The group recently supported festival favourites 19-Twenty and had their songs aired on 3RRR independent radio.

Old-school Rock’n’Roll & Blues inspired by Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, Eddie Cochran and The Fabulous Thunderbirds. Fronted by legendary guitarist Paul Wookey—whose remarkable career has seen him perform with artists including Vince Gill, Albert Lee, Mick Jagger and Tommy Emmanuel—and Sean Curtis, founder of Australian Hillbilly Pop favourites The Pigs, the band brings decades of stage experience & first-class musicianship. Rounding out the lineup are Adrian Osborne (Kissin’ Cousins, HOG) on bass and Del Preston (Bad Knees) on drums.
